What areas do you cover?
I currently cover Consett, Lanchester, Burnopfield, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether you’re within my range, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to check.
What does my dog need to join your walks?
Dogs must be friendly, well socialised, and comfortable walking in a group environment.
For Adventure Days, dogs must already be part of my regular groups and have reliable recall.
Do you walk dogs off lead?
Yes, but only with the owner’s permission and once I’m confident your dog has solid recall.
What happens if my dog gets wet or muddy on their walk?
I try my best to keep your dog as clean as possible but we do live in the North East and dogs love a muddy puddle!
Please leave a towel out for me, and if you have a hose I may use, let me know where it’s located.
Do you walk dogs in groups?
Yes. I walk small, well matched groups to ensure safety, structure, and enjoyment for all dogs.
I may walk up to six dogs at a time, unless a solo walk has been agreed.
Do you take puppies?
Yes, once they’ve had their vaccinations and are ready for gentle socialisation.
I tailor walks to their age and needs.
Do you offer solo walks?
I specialise in group walks, but feel free to ask if your dog needs something more individual.
What happens on an Adventure Day?
Adventure Days include exploring forests, beaches, woodlands, and scenic trails.
They are available as half or full days, and only for dogs already in my groups with good recall.
What’s required for overnight dog sitting?
Dogs must be happy staying in their own home and comfortable being left for up to 5 hours during the day while I carry out my regular group walks.
Are you insured?
Yes. I hold full pet business insurance, public liability cover, and canine first aid training.
How do I book?
Just get in touch via my Contact page.
I’ll arrange a meet & greet to make sure my services are the perfect fit for your dog.
What is your cancellation policy?
Currently being updated – TBC.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your dog’s safety always comes first.
Does my dog need to wear a collar and ID tag?
Yes. By law, dogs must wear a collar and ID tag with the owner’s name and address.
Owners must also provide safe, well-fitting harnesses/leads and a muzzle if required.
